3 DAYS IN HA LONG BAY

Ha Long Bay is an area of outstanding natural beauty in Northern Vietnam. Its emerald green waters and thousands of islands and islets have been recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. This three day cruise takes you out into the heart of the bay where you can kayak through beautiful caves and relax on hidden beaches. It’s a longer version of our popular 2 day tour, perfect for older couples who love a bit of peace and quiet.

What’s the Accommodation Like?

Cosy, comfortable and very private. All of our Ha Long Bay cruises are on 3-4 star boutique boats. You’ll have your own private cabin with comfortable beds, private chef to cook you fantastic meals, and a cocktail bartender to mix your G & Ts. In the evenings you can lounge around on the deck and during the day you can explore the bay by kayak or chill out on hidden beaches.

Should I do a two or three day cruise?

We offer a wide range of two and three day cruises. We find that families with young children, young couples and large groups prefer two day cruises. Older couples who love a bit of peace and quiet prefer the three day cruise.

DAY 1: Hanoi/Ha Long Bay
Travel through the fertile countryside of the Red River Delta en-route to Ha Long City. Enjoy the emerald waters and stunning scenery as you cruise through the limestone peaks that make this a World Heritage site. After a delicious lunch you can kayak among the hidden areas of the bay around the Luon Cave. Swim and relax at Soi Sim beach or take an energetic walk to reach the breath-taking view from the top.

DAY 2: Ha Long Bay/Lan Ha Bay
Greet the day with Tai Chi on the upper deck before breakfast on board. Then transfer to a day boat for a cruise to Lan Ha Bay, exploring the Light and Dark Cave by kayak, swimming and relaxing at the beaches. After a BBQ lunch on board there is time for more kayaking or leisure at the beaches. Visit the floating pearl farm and swim at the Three Peach Beach (weather permitting). After cruising back to the main boat you can enjoy sunset cocktails and dinner with your fellow travellers to talk about your perfect day on the bay.

DAY 3: Ha Long Bay/Hanoi
Breakfast served on the boat then an opportunity to explore the impressive Sung Sot Cave. Back on the boat and it is time to return to the harbour, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet and other scenic formations. During the journey you can watch the cooking demonstration before enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch. Back on shore you will then transfer back to Hanoi, arriving late afternoon.
